A safe space to feel, heal
and become whole again
Warm, trauma-informed psychotherapy for anxiety, grief, and the patterns that keep you stuck — in person in Derby and Nottingham, or online across the UK.

Therapy that meets all of you — mind, body and story.
Are you feeling anxious, overwhelmed by grief, struggling with the impact of trauma, or finding yourself feeling lost — without a sense of purpose or direction in life?
I offer a warm, compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can begin to process what you're going through at your own pace. I'm a trauma-informed humanistic and integrative therapist, and I work alongside you with empathy and respect, honouring your unique experiences and inner resources.
I also integrate gentle mind–body approaches — mindfulness, breath-work and grounding — to support nervous-system regulation and emotional balance.
Whatever you're carrying, you don't have to carry it alone
Common reasons people come to see me — explored gently, at your pace.

A blend of talking, body and presence
At the heart of my practice is the belief that healing happens through a safe and supportive relationship — both within the therapeutic space and with yourself.
Humanistic therapy
An approach that honours your wholeness — your thoughts, feelings, body and sense of meaning — trusting you as the expert in your own life.
Integrative counselling
Drawing on a range of evidence-based models so the work can be shaped around what you actually need, not a single fixed method.
Relational therapy
The therapeutic relationship itself becomes a place of safety, repair and growth — somewhere old patterns can soften.
Somatic therapy
Gentle body-based practices — grounding, breath awareness, noticing sensation — that help regulate the nervous system alongside talking.
“You may understand why you feel the way you do, yet still feel stuck. Therapy can help bridge that gap — supporting both mind and body to work together in the healing process.”
— Alena Hawk
